Sony Alpha 7C II and Alpha 7CR full-frame cameras debut in India, on sale from November 3

The Alpha 7C II stands out with its 33MP Exmor R CMOS sensor and the advanced BIONZ XR processing engine. Notably, it comes with a dedicated AI processor for improved subject recognition and overall image quality. Video enthusiasts will appreciate its 4K recording capability at up to 60p/50p and the 5-axis optical image stabilization for steady shots. An XGA OLED electronic viewfinder with a 120fps refresh rate ensures a clear view.



One interesting feature is the AI-based Auto framing, which automatically adjusts framing to highlight your subject. Built with durability in mind, the camera is dust and moisture-resistant and has a sturdy magnesium alloy chassis. Connecting the camera to your smartphone is a breeze using Sony’s Creators app.


Alpha 7CR specs

The Alpha 7CR is designed for high-resolution photography while maintaining a compact and lightweight build. It boasts a 61MP Exmor R image sensor and the same BIONZ XR processing. Like its sibling, it features 5-axis optical image stabilization and supports a high-resolution XGA OLED electronic viewfinder at 120fps. Additionally, it includes AI-based Auto Framing and other functions like Focus bracketing, Focus Map, and Flicker suppression.

Both cameras share some key features, one being small and easy to carry, weighing around 514g to 515g, and working with various E-mount lenses. They can shoot high-quality videos in 4K, offering a wide dynamic range with S-Log3, and they provide cinematic video quality with S-Cinetone color science. They also have user-friendly touch screens that can be adjusted to different angles, customizable dials, and high-quality viewfinders.



Pricing & availability

The ILCE-7CM2 (Body Only) will be available on the 3rd of November 2023 for an initial price of Rs. 2,14,990/-. The ILCE-7CM2L (Body + 28-60mm Zoom Lens) will also be available on the same date for an initial price of Rs. 2,43,990/-. The price and availability of the ILCE-7CR is to be announced.
