Apple Could Go All Out And Refresh Its Entire iPad Lineup In 2024: All Details

Apple hasn’t updated its iPad lineup at all this year, and it has gone without updates. If anything, we got the new Apple Pencil with the USB-C port, but there have been no new models of the iPad Air, iPad Pro, the iPad 10th generation, or the iPad mini. But this is set to change per Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, as the iPhone maker looks to update the entire lineup next year in 2024.

According to Gurman’s PowerOn newsletter, this is the first time since 2010, when Steve Jobs unveiled the first iPad, that Apple has gone without updating an iPad once a year. Earlier last month, it was rumoured that the brand would launch new iPads, including a new iPad Air, but evidently, the launch failed to materialise, and instead, it launched the new Apple Pencil with USB-C.

The report adds that Apple could have pushed out new products, but “revamped iPads and AirPods aren’t yet ready.” However, this could all change next year, as it is reportedly planning on updating its “entire iPad lineup” in 2024.

So, if this ends up being true, we could see new iPads from across the lineup—including the iPad Air, iPad Pro, and the iPad 10th generation, as well as the iPad mini. Some models like the iPad mini haven’t been updated in almost two years, and next year could be the ideal time to launch an updated model.

Furthermore, it was also revealed that Apple is planning on releasing a low-end model of the AirPods, which has become a hugely successful product line for the company. Moreover, Apple is also rumored to be updating its AirPods Pro later in 2025. It would mark Apple’s third attempt at creating a ‘Pro’ grade AirPods, as we already have the outgoing AirPods Pro second generation.
